SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS – DISCOVER WORDS… REFLECTIONS November 2018

The SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS weekly column is a place at Shannon Muir’s author website open to interviews and guest posts from other authors. One thing Shannon firmly believes in for readers not only to learn about new books available, but about those who craft the tales behind them. As its name implies, SHANNON MUIR’S INFINITE HOUSE OF BOOKS weekly column features writers from all genres of fiction who want their potential audience to get to know them, and their works, better – and occasionally may offer features from Shannon herself that support readers to discover words.

DISCOVER WORDS… REFLECTIONS is a monthly blog series that focuses on readers and the discovery of words. All blog posts written by Shannon Muir. This month she shares her thoughts on when words are powerful… and when they aren’t.

This column talks about the power of words most of the time. Sometimes, the absence or limitation of words can be more powerful than their being there.

A good example of this is times of trauma and trial. Sometimes offering words or even a sympathetic ear for other people’s words just isn’t enough.

Sometimes it’s about action.

That’s all my words for this month. Consider the power of when and where to use words.

Please rejoin DISCOVER WORDS… THE BLOG in January 2019 on the second Tuesday of each month.
